Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory
The lab is a vibrant institution. Membership entitles you to attend fascinating lectures and fundraisers. My husband, Jim and I support Jazz at the Lab.

Nassau County Red Cross
Our local Red Cross has many interesting programs and needs volunteers. My husband, Jim and I support the annual Red & White Ball, a major fundraiser.

Rosemary Randolph Kempton Fund/Ovarian Cancer Fund Raiser
In memory of my dear friend, Rosemary, I am producing prints and note cards of her watercolors done in the 1970’s. The framed 18 x 24 prints sell for $75.00, the total proceeds going to her fund at the Ovarian Cancer Research Center in Manhattan. Please contact me if you would put one of her prints up in your office for sale, or if you would like to order note cards.

A Local House of Worship
A peaceful place to be on Sunday morning it the First Presbyterian Church of Oyster Bay. The annual Victorian Fair the weekend before Thanksgiving is a favorite project of mine. The church takes all kinds of donations; household items, costume jewelry, baked goods, presents you never found a use for, party clothes (adults and Kids), Christmas decorations. Vendors are also a part of the weekend. Call me if you have any donations and we will arrange for pick up. 516-367-3944 P.S. There is an ongoing Mary Martha’s closet that stocks household dishes, towels, bedding, etc. that we need donations for as well.

Junior League of Long Island
The Junior League on Old Northern Blvd. In Roslyn Village has a wonderful thrift shop and lower level household area and needs donations. They do take consignment items. The League has wonderful local projects – ongoing all the time – that they fund and support. If you are looking for a dynamic ladies group to join, call them at (516) 625-9675. If you have let a prior membership expire, join the sustainers! We are having a wonderful time and are notified about a variety of local projects to help with.
